Logan and District Orchid Society Inc. (LADOS Inc)
Logan And District Orchid Society Inc. (LADOS) was founded in January 1976 and is affiliated with the Australian Orchid Council (AOC) & QOS and is a very active society. We are dedicated to the advancement of knowledge of all things Orchids. (About Us)
Our emblem flower, Thelymitra ixioides, the Spotted Sun Orchid, is a terrestrial orchid that is native to the Logan area & flowers in Spring & early Summer.
LADOS Inc holds its annual End of Winter Show (last
full weekend in August) . For the dates of other club’s shows please look at the Events Calendar Page.
LADOS Inc meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the Logan Central Community Centre,
9 Jacaranda Ave, (corner of Wembley Rd) Logan Central, starting at 7:30 pm (general meeting) concluding approximately at 10:00pm. Benching of plants for the annual intra-club competition starts at 6.45 pm.
Visitors are welcome to attend.
